I'm asking you because as a friend you need to help me. I'm going on a date. You're an adult man and presumably you've had way more experience than I ever had in my short life.

What do teenagers do on dates. We've got eating set up. I don't know much else.

I've only ever dated one woman, and I have had no other reason to date another.

I helped my best friend kill her father, and my mother fell in love with Dio Brando.

I'm not planning for marriage I just want to not mess up. This is my first date. She's not from home. We met at an audition I went to for a whim. Just tell me something I can use.

I don't enjoy being a teen. It's ridiculous. I never had to deal with this before and I can't really say I relate to anyone when they talk about things they like. Perhaps this place being so ... different with all of its time and reality-bending abilities that Imports are subjected to makes for different interactions, but I've yet to be really interested in some random kid my age. TV bores me. Their music is alright. I don't care about the fact that we have school but it's nice that they're all living in relative peace. In another lifetime I probably would've fought for this peace.

Do you know what my father was like when he was young? Being a vampire ... I can relate to being alone at least.

No one enjoys being a teenager Giorno, not even when they are one. But you're trying and that counts.

I don't really know anything about your father. The one person who would have been able to tell you isn't here anymore. However I get the distinct impression that he has not matured much in the past hundred years, so what you see is likely how he was back then as well.

That's not true. Some people do, and I don't hang out with those people.

[ and that lines makes him laugh, but it also doesn't feel satisfactory. he doesn't really want to hear that even if it's the truth. he's curious about him, wants to know what it's like for him to grow up. were they the same? by how many degrees? he'd hoped jotaro had done more research on his father than he needed to, but maybe he's just not asking the right questions. so he tries again: ]

A hundred years .... can you tell me what it's like fighting him?

[ he's being polite, instead of just outright demanding, because he knows it's a painful memory. but for giorno it's a lifeline, a way to connect. ]

Fighting him took everything I had. And even then I mostly won by luck favoring me over him in a split second. If it didn't in that moment, I would have died.

How did you track him down? How did you defeat him? You said you had a team, how did each of you approach him?

[ totally not asking about this because he's meeting him in castle rock, oh no. ]

I defeated him alone. The rest of my team was incapacitated at the time.

[ three were dead, two incapable of combat. he was the only one who could finish it. ]

You aren't capable of beating him the same way I did, if that's your goal.

I told you before, Dio and I have the same type of Stand. That also includes the same power to stop time.

I don't know everything about your Stand's power, but I've gathered that it has the power to create life. It's a unique power, and vastly different from your father's.

1. What was your strategy in approaching the fight with Dio?
2. How did my father fight you? What was the ultimate blow?
3. At any point during the fight, did his Stand evolve?
4. How long did it take for you to finish him off?

I'll make it even easier: don't fight him alone or you will die.

I'm serious Giorno. Dio does not throw his punches, and you won't be able to tell when time is stopped.
